NTE 1.1 Dreamwalk Corridor Update Guide — Lacrimosa & Chaos, Events, QoL Changes (May 2026)

Neverness to Everness Version 1.1 "Dreamwalk Corridor" launched on May 28, 2026 (CN) / June 3, 2026 (Global). This is the first major update after launch, bringing two new S-rank characters, a new explorable area, significant QoL improvements, and a packed event schedule.

Lacrimosa — Phase 1 Limited Banner

Lacrimosa is the game's first summoner main DPS. She controls multiple Esper Constructs for coordinated combat, and her core mechanic is the "Nightmare" debuff — skills apply Nightmare stacks that deal continuous Chaos damage. At A5, Nightmare also reduces the target's max HP, making her excellent against high-HP bosses.

• A3 "Molten Ice Cream": 5th normal attack procs all Nightmare stacks at once — core burst skill

Chaos — Phase 2 Limited Banner

Chaos is the first limited S-rank male character in NTE, debuting in the 1.1 main story episode "A Research in Scarlet." As a Lakshana Attack character, his kit revolves around Esper Constructs.

Version 1.1 adds the Dreamwalk Corridor, a dream-themed anomaly zone featuring:

• New treasure chests and collectibles
• New Anomaly dungeons and challenges
• Version-limited event zones
• Hidden achievements and easter eggs

1.1 implements heavily requested quality-of-life changes:

• Daily tasks: Reduced from 4 to 2-3
• Daily time: From 15-20 min down to ~10 min
• Weekly tasks: Streamlined
• Pink Paw Coin event: Difficulty reduced

The developers publicly acknowledged the daily grind was too heavy and committed to keeping dailies under 10 minutes.

The May 19 hotfix unified arc type names in English:

• Condensate, Hybrid, and Synthesis are all renamed to "Condensate"
• This is an English display change only — gameplay mechanics are unaffected
